| So I haven't written anything in like 3 months so heres the low down:
I worked at Camp Wyldewood over the summer. It was great; however, it went by entirely too fast. It was like a dream and then it was over. I spent 5 days a week with 7 & 8 year olds and it was a lot fun. They amazed me at times.
I came back to awful, discouraging things. I'm really glad that I have Jesus in my life. He's my rock.
Well, that's about it for now.... God Bless!
Much Love! | | |
| My God is so great, so big, and so mighty, there's nothing my God can not do!! (for you!)
Well, finals are over and camp starts in less than 2 weeks.
That's SO crazy! I can't belive it got here so fast. This
summer's theme is Humble yourself and I have been looking a lot at
myself lately and realizing not only things that I need to change in my
life but also how wonderfun God is and how He has blessed me so
much. My life has been crazy lately. I've been hit with one
bad thing after another but through all of that, God has blessed me
with better friendships and new ones too... and with wisdom. I
feel as if I have matured more spiritually and mentally. God is
great!
Alison and Michael's wedding was so pretty. I am so glad for them.
And... My attempt of convincing Robert that we should have light pink
staff shirts or at least pink in our shirts... pretty much failed.

If We Are The Body
by Casting Crowns |
It's crowded in worship today
As she slips in
trying to fade into the faces
the girls' teasing laughter is carrying farther than they know
farther than they know
CHORUS
But if we are the body
why arent His arms reaching
why arent His hands healing
why arent His words teaching
and if we are the body
why arent His feet going
why is His love not showing them there is a way
there is a way
A traveler is far away from home
he sheds his coat
and quietly sinks into the back row
the weight of their judgemental glances tell him that his chances
are better out on the road
CHORUS
But if we are the body
why arent His arms reaching
why arent His hands healing
why arent His words teaching
and if we are the body
why arent His feet going
why is His love not showing them there is a way
Jesus paid much too high a price
for us to pick and choose who should come
and we are the body of Christ
Chorus (2x)
But if we are the body
why arent His arms reaching
why arent His hands healing
why arent His words teaching
and if we are the body
why arent His feet going
why is His love not showing them there is a way
Jesus is the way

Well, I have spent the last 30 minutes trying for print off 3 articles for Speech and Hearing Science. The printer has developed a personality and has decided that it has been overworked and has gone on STRIKE!!!
Have a blessed day!

| So last night I couldn't sleep. Not sure why. Then I fell
into a light sleep when the storm hit and I proceeded to stay awake
even longer, so I was pretty tired today which doesn't always mix when
you have to listen to kids talk all day long. (I give speech
therapy on Tues/Thurs at Searcy McRae Elementary.)
I think that it is pretty cool that God is so powerful and so fearsome
and yet He makes me laugh. Today I wondered how hard it must have
been for Joseph to forgive his brothers and yet I have problems
sometimes forgiving people of little nonsense things.
Obviously, this doesn't make me laugh. I just ran 2 thoughts into one.
I only go to chapel 3 times a week so I've missed some Sr. speeches
this week. Ahh tear. Not really, I'm being pretty
sarcastic, but anyways some guy the other day answered the age old
question... Why did the chicken cross the road? His answer, by
which he actually witnessed one day on his way to Georgetown for some
catfish: to get to the 2 female chickens on the other side. I
would make some sarcastic, yet I kind of mean it comment/joke here but
I have chosen not to because I can't really think of one that is so
funny that you would still laugh about it 2 weeks from now.
How have you seen Jesus today?
God Bless!
